Intanki National Park is the only national park in Nagaland.
Intanki National Park
- Location: Peren district, Nagaland, India.
- Physiography: Located in the foothills of the Patkai Range (Eastern Himalayas); near the western periphery of the Barail Range.
- Uniqueness: The only national park in Nagaland.
- Reserved Forest: Intanki Reserved Forest established in 1923 by British administrators.
- Wildlife Sanctuary: Declared Intanki Wildlife Sanctuary in 1975 by the Government of Nagaland.
- National Park: In 1993, the sanctuary and proposed park area were merged to form Intanki National Park.
- Elephant Reserve: Declared an elephant reserve in 2005.
- Area: ~202 sq km (78 sq miles).
- Rivers: Dhansiri River, Monglu River, Intanki River, Duilong River.
- Flora: Equatorial forests; oak, maple, chestnut. orchids; bamboo.
- Fauna: Tiger, Asian Elephant, Leopard, Wild Dog, Asiatic Black Bear, Clouded Leopard, Sambar,Hoolock Gibbon, Slow Loris, White-winged Duck, Asian Giant Tortoise.
